Back In Vancouver

We arrived back safe and sound last night. We left at 10.30am (Manchester time), and arrived in Vancouver around 3am (Manchester time). We took 2 flights: Manchester->London, London->Vancouver. The London flight takeoff was delayed by 50 mins because the walkway to the plane would not retract. The plane was full. Just a normal flight until we flew into strong winds over the Garibaldi Range (just outside Vancouver). Unbelievable turbulance, super side-to-side shaking mixed in with some downward drops! Women we're screaming and a bunch of people started being sick in the barf bags. We was extremely happy to land and get off the plane.

We had a great trip, enjoyed Spain a lot and hung out in Manchester for several weeks showing M. around, catching up with friends and family. I got to walk around being English and talking all funny for a while - very nice :)
