Vancouver's International Firework Competition

This has to be the best idea ever for a city - every year, Vancouver holds an international firework competition. Four countries come to Canada to compete with their gunpowder skills. Last night it was Italy's turn to show us what they've got. WOW! The show was fantastic. Here's some clips for you to enjoy...

Our Garden

Here's a series of photo's showing the transformation of our garden from move day to today. We've spent a bunch of time working in the garden and it's really starting to pay off. Sunset Cruise

Tonight we all headed out on a sunset cruise. We all enjoyed being out at sea, starting in Granville Island, heading out into English Bay then over to West Vancouver. We floated by some mega mansions, including Oprah Winfrey's, Brian Adams. LOL. We all laughed as we went bye, imagining them annoyed at the nosy tourists floating past (fair enough!). Good times all around this evening!!

World Cup 2006

Me and Dubmaster C headed down to Commercial Drive to watch the final with the Italian community. Unfortunately it was toooo busy and we couldn't get in anywhere to watch the match. So, off we went back to my neighbourhood and watched the game at the local sports pub. We had a fine time. There was huge crowd of all nationalities all pumped up and cheering away. Good times.

The Plane Boss, The Plane!

Big bro and I took a sea plane ride over to Vancouver Island yesterday. A perfect itinerary. Departing Vancouver around Lunch, we flew to Nanaimo in around 25 mins. Landing, we took short boat ride to Protection Island, to enjoy lunch and beers at the Dinghy Dock Pub. Around tea-time, we fly back to Vancouver and headed back to our house for a BBQ and Red-Stripe. It be alright!
